Located in the old town of Longueuil, Le Refuge du Poète offers easy access, by metro or ferry, to downtown Montreal, 9 km away. It has a terrace, as well as charming rooms with toiletries, refrigerator and a free coffee/tea corner.My daughter and I came for 1 week site visit, to check out Montreal where she'll soon study. We couldn't be happier with Refuge de Poete. Louise has made us feel so welcome since day 1. Because her B&B is very popular and was almost fully booked for the entire week, I reserved 3 different rooms throughout the week in order to stay at the same place. Although we changed rooms 4 times, Louise our hostess, never made us feel like extra work. She's incredibly diligent with the room set up, her sheets & towels smell so good (we even noted the brands), it's so pretty and comfortable here. We could not have been luckier to have found this gem. Only 33 min commute to Universite Concordia. thank you, Louise for such a wonderful 1st time to Montreal.
