The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Golden Golf & Country Club.This cozy cabin in the Columbia Valley was just what we needed for our two-night getaway. We never did meet our hosts, but they had a roaring fire going to welcome us on our arrival, and they communicated well throughout. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen fairly well-stocked, and everything worked well. We thought we might take some longer hikes, but the cabin was so inviting that we enjoyed simply exploring the Columbia River basin, watching Trumpeter swans, hearing the train, and cooking for ourselves. Allowing us to travel with our dog was a bonus, as well. There aren't many amenities nearby, but that was part of the charm, and we came prepared. We would definitely recommend this cabin, and we'd love to come again.
